Cut-Out Evolution is the innovative system developed by De Rossi Vittoriano for the removal of internal waste within the label and is mainly used for die-cut window labels, labels with internal cut-outs or, more generally, labels with internal die-cutting.

FEATURES:

 
-NO NEED TO CHANGE THE SILICONE LINER / SUPPORT This technology allows the removal of waste material from the internal areas of the label without changing the silicone liner/support, creating clean openings that enhance the design and highlight the product, as in the case of cut-out labels or die-cut window labels.
 

-EASILY INTEGRATED IN-LINE ON EXISTING PRINTING AND FINISHING MACHINES
Cut-Out Evolution can be easily integrated into existing printing (and finishing) machines and does not require structural modifications or complex interventions. Required components include: a waste rewind reel (foil waste is optimal, but different reels can still be used), an unwinder, and a rewinder, which may already be installed on the machine or supplied by us as additional units.
The internal waste removal unit can be used on machines with web movement from left to right or vice versa.
 

-REMOVES EVEN THE SMALLEST WASTE
The die-cut waste removal system removes very small waste pieces; it has also been tested with waste sizes of approximately 5 mm x 5 mm.
 

-SEPARATION DISTANCE CONTROL SYSTEM
The Cut-Out module features a blade separation approach/retract system with material length compensation in order to avoid variations in web tension. This mechanism is designed to prevent unwanted separation of label parts before the machine has been fully set up.
 

-ALTERNATIVE USE: CHANGE THE SILICONE LINER / SUPPORT OF AN EXISTING LABEL
The Cut-Out unit can alternatively be used to replace the original silicone liner/support with a new liner, if the rewinder installed on the machine allows it. This makes it possible, for example, to discard a liner damaged during die-cutting and replace it with a new one.
 

-OPTIONAL REWINDER BRAKING SYSTEM
The waste removal unit can also be equipped with a rewinder braking system, which is very useful on machines where the rewinder motor is always running, even when the machine is stopped.
